Thanks for 25, but my foot's tapping for 26+. And blue balls? First the passion scene of 24 which still leaves me....inattentive...and now BB? What's next, a cameo appearance by Gypsy Rose Lee?

First, I'd like to say that I think the previous comment is entirely unwarranted.
I listen to many, many podiobooks, and the quality of your storytelling, combined with your superb narration, is exceptional.
The 'steamy scenes' are an integral part of the storyline by showing the intimacy and the depth of the relationship between Lindsay and Joel. Lindsay has, after all, had a ten year dry spell while in prison!
These scenes underline the pull of this other world on Lindsay, who is starved for affection, freedom and belonging. These are very compelling motivations.
Your world-building is excellent. I feel like this place could truly exist, and your narration transports me there as I listen.
I just want to say 'Bravo!'. Your work is really something special, and I am enjoying every second of DOD.
Please keep up your good work, it is truly exceptional!

Thank you so much, Mary Laura, for your thoughts. I'm thrilled that you are enjoying both the story and the podcast! Craig is actually a big fan of Dreaming of Deliverance (he also wrote a super-complimentary review: http://podiobookreviews.blogspot.com/2010/03/dreaming-of-deliverance.html) and he is, I'm guessing, being funny here.

But I didn't really know how to respond to this particular comment of his, which I why I didn't say anything! I'm actually pretty bashful about the steamy scenes. But you're so right, they are an important part of the story.

Anyway, I can't tell you how fabulous it was to read your comment. The world in DoD is incredibly real to me, and I love sharing it with other people. Thank you so much for letting me know that you are enjoying it!

Take care,

Renée
